JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Become part of a growing movement in the United States to return to the roots of Reiki. We follow the standards of Hawayo Takata and the discipline of Usui Shiki Ryoho. Our shared goal is to present Reiki to our students as closely as Takata did, eliminating many of the newer elements introduced by teachers that are not part of the earlier Reiki teachings.
ENERGY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
UPCOMING REIKI EVENTS
Donating to the Reiki Center Project assists RCA in providing technical and business development support to current member Reiki Centers and newly forming Reiki centers. We provide extensive services to help new centers form, including access to legal advice, information on incorporation versus sole proprietorship, copies of the filings made by other Centers to assist in the process, as well as advice and support based on our own experiences.
It can be a daunting task for new teachers to create diagrams of the body with recommended hand positions, photos of the lineage of Reiki masters, and other classroom materials. We are working to assist in this by providing at low cost pre-made class materials, as well as promotional flyers, email templates, and many more materials our member centers can use to promote and teach Reiki to students.
A key part of our work is training the master instructors at our member centers to ensure the quality and consistency of their teachings. We strive to preserve the original, Usui Shiki Syoho lineage of Reiki – the traditional teachings passed down by Hawayo Takata from her Master, Chujiro Hayashi. Your donation to this project will help us provide additional training to our member-Masters to ensure the legacy of Usui Shiki Ryoho is passed on to students.
REIKI ARCHIVES LIBRARY
RCA has an extensive body of materials about the history, philosophy, precepts, and practice of Reiki. Our archive library hosts books, magazine articles, audio and video files of prominent Reiki Masters who studied Usui Shiki Rhoyo under Takata-trained masters. Our library also hosts a database of our member Reiki Centers, their classes and Reiki Circles or Clinics, as well as state-by-state listings of the practitioners who have trained in Usui Shiki Ryoho and are available to be contacted by the public.
REIKI EDUCATION PROJECT
RCA’s Reiki Education Prokect provides Reiki Education (Reiki 1 and 2 courses and Master Apprenticeship program) and on-going mentorship to students through our various member Reiki Centers. Our Reiki masters have had to be practicing Reiki professionally for a minimum of four years before training in a two-year Master apprenticeship, and have had at least 2,000 hours of professional training with private clients. RCA’s Reiki Education Project curriculum follows the teachings of Hawayo Takata and the discipline of Usui Shiki Ryoyo.
REIKI TRAINING PROJECT
Our RCA member Reiki Centers are essentially hubs for intensive Reiki Practitioner and Master training and development. Through our Member Reiki Centers we provide volunteer and internships opportunities to students with on-going guidance and mentorship at our Reiki Clinics, Reiki Circles, and community partnership internship opportunities. Our Reiki Centers provide a Master Training program for those students who desire to teach. In addition, RCA hosts a Reiki Peer–to-Peer “Support Line” for 2nd Degree Reiki students to reach out for help at times of illness or other problems
MEMBER REIKI CENTER PROJECT
RCA provides technical and business development to active Member Centers and newly forming Reiki Centers. Our technical assistance includes a basic business 101 class, ongoing support services, forms and paperwork assistance, and essential resource information, including state-by-state information about licensing requirements, accreditation bodies, and insurance companies that cover Reiki practitioners.
OUR MEMBER REIKI CENTERS
“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”
“The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.”
