REIKI ARCHIVES LIBRARY
RCA has an extensive collection of materials about the history, philosophy, precepts, and practice of Reiki. Our archive library hosts rare books, magazine articles, interviews, and audio and video files of prominent Reiki Masters who studied Usui Shiki Rhoyo under Hawayo Takata or Takata-trained masters. We believe in preserving the original teachings and spirit of the spiritual method of Reiki, even as the practice continues to grow and develop as used by practitioners around the world.
REIKI EDUCATION PROJECT
RCA’s Reiki Education Project provides Reiki Education (Reiki 1 and 2 courses and 2-year Master Apprenticeship program) and on-going mentorship to students through our various member Reiki Centers. Our Reiki masters have had to be practicing Reiki professionally for a minimum of four years before training in a two-year Master apprenticeship, and have had at least 2,000 hours of professional training with private clients. RCA’s Reiki Education Project curriculum follows the teachings of Hawayo Takata and the discipline of Usui Shiki Ryoyo.
REIKI TRAINING PROJECT
Our RCA member Reiki Centers are essentially hubs for intensive Reiki Practitioner and Master training and development. Through our Member Reiki Centers we provide volunteer and internships opportunities to students with on-going guidance and mentorship at our Reiki Clinics, Reiki Circles, and community partnership internship opportunities. Our Reiki Centers provide a Master Training program for those students who desire to teach. In addition, RCA hosts a Reiki Peer–to-Peer “Support Line” for 2nd Degree Reiki students to reach out for help at times of illness or other problems.
MEMBER REIKI CENTER PROJECT
Reiki CEnters of America provides technical and business development to active Member Centers and newly forming Reiki Centers. Our technical assistance includes a basic business 101 class, ongoing support services, forms and paperwork assistance, and essential resource information, including state-by-state information about licensing requirements, accreditation bodies, and insurance companies that cover Reiki practitioners. We use our experience running full-time Reiki offices to help promote the success of newly-formed Reiki centers. We also provide coaching and mentorship to new Masters.
